Refilling Instructions
IBM LEXMARK 4076, 2070, 1020, 1000, 1100, 2030, 2050, 3000, 3200, 7000, 7200, 5000, 5700, 150C, Z11, Z31, Z51, OKI 2010, Xerox XJ8C, XJ9C
COLOR CARTRIDGES
- The filler holes of the cartridge are located under the red top. Remove the top before refilling by carefully levering it off with a thin metal blade, such as a penknife.
- Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with the correct colour ink.
- Insert the filling needle into the filler hole of the colour to be refilled, (see diagram above) and push downwards into the centre of the cartridge.
Note: The cartridge contains sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.
- Slowly inject up to 10ml. of ink until the sponge is saturated.
Important: Clean the syringe with water, and dry before refilling with another color.
- After refilling the top can be refitted and fixed with adhesive tape.
BLACK CARTRIDGES
- Enlarge the filling hole using the screw provided.(It is not necessary to remove the top)
- Fill the syringe with ink, insert the filling needle into the filling hole and push downwards into the centre of the cartridge. Slowly inject up to 20ml. of ink until the reservoir is full.
NOTE: Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately
