Refilling Instructions
Hewlett Packard Cartridges (51645A, 51640A, 51650)
DeskJet 710C, 720C, 820, 850C, 870C, 890C, 895CXI, 970CXI, 1200C, 1600C
- Turn the cartridge upside down. Using a pointed instrument push through the plastic film and push in the ball bearing which seals the filling hole.
- Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with the correct color ink.
- Slowly inject ink into the filling hole until the cartridge is full.
- Unused ink may be returned to the bottle.
- Seal the filling hole with the plug provided, ensuring that the plug is pushed firmly home.
- Stand cartridge, print head down, on absorbent paper for 2 minutes to draw out any excess ink and pressurise ink chamber.
- Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use with a different colour ink.
- Mount the cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
NOTE: Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately
