Refilling Instructions
EPSON Stylus 820, Color II / IIs, 200, 500 (Colour Only), 820
- Seal the outlet hole(s) in the base of the cartridge with adhesive tape.
- Make breather holes using a small (3mm) drill, bradawl, or other pointed implement in positions shown above.
(Not necessary on Black S020093, S020108, Color S020089)
- Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with the appropriate colour ink.
- Push needle through the label into the sponge of the correct filling hole. Very slowly inject ink into the sponge until the cartridge is full.
(This will saturate the sponge with ink and refill the reservoir)
- Seal the breather hole(s) with the plugs supplied or adhesive tape. DO NOT unseal the outlet holes.
Note: If the breather holes are not sealed properly the cartridge will leak.
- Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use with a different color ink.
- Mount the cartridge and run cleaning cycles as per printer instructions.
- If necessary leave for up to 24 hours.
(Allows ink to flow to the print head).
NOTE: If cartridge is refilled before it is completely empty this time is greatly reduced.
NOTE: Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately
